Experienced Masters Teams

Experienced Masters Teams We have two options for rowers with experience. The practice schedules for both are the same. We believe that with an appropriate structure and goals for each and within each team, we better meet a wider variety of individual goals on the team.

Team Practice Days: When on-land at our Speed Lab practices will likely run slightly shorter and we'll communicate those times but they will be within these times: Wednesday 6:45-8:30 am Saturday 6:45-8:30 am Sunday 6:45-8:30 am Also open to all and we provide a coach for each: Tuesday 5:30-7:00 am Wednesday 6:30-8:00 pm (for water season) Friday 6:45-8:30 am - small boat day

Performance Team

looking to make boats go as fast as possible while improving oneself. What’s in the name? An attempt to define a common goal of making boats move faster. This can include those who want to race at a very competitive level or those who are just wanting to keep improving their skills and fitness to make boats move faster on Emigrant Lake. Racing: The option will be provided and encouraged to those who want it. A focus on how to best prepare for racing will be given to those who want to attend. Extra practices, workouts and lineup specific practices will be part of this preparation. Commitment to races will be asked 2 months prior to a race. Boat selection will occur in the next month with a goal of announcing lineups 1 month prior to a race. The month before the race will be used to row in specific race lineups and an added importance to practice attendance will occur. Sundays will be used as an expected race day lineup for this month prior.
